    V7N Forums Hacked!

    Looks like V7N has been hacked... Does anyone know when this started ?

    It's working for me and don't see any hacked message.

    Looks like everything is back to normal over there again...

    Apparently it was due to a security breach over at Godaddy!

    GoDaddy brought down v7n? Wow... I guess they were too busy with the godaddy girls...
    Seems like more and more sites are getting hacked these days, including big ones.

    We seem to get hit about twice a year, always due to vulnerabilities in scripts we run.

    v7n's trouble was different, someone social engineered GoDaddy to change their domain registration.

    There is one thing that v7n's trouble and our troubles have in common though, the religious preferences of the miscreants. We don't hear very often of Hindu hackers, Buddhist hackers, Mormon hackers, etc...

    And almost never Amish hackers.

    Amish hackers would be totally hardcore

    I've noticed an interesting dynamics on V7N, it seems there are many sellers there - for links, services, domains, sites - but very few buyers. It's pretty hard to actually sell anything there.
