Digital point is NO FOLLOW on signature links and links inside posts!!!!!!!!!
Plus search engines like google CAN NOT SEE THOSE LINKS AS THEY ARE INVISIBLE TO SEARCH ENGINES!

And more forums are going the same way, as google caught on a long time ago that links on forums were basically there to game google.
So google does discount links on forums.

In addition, you need to be logged-in to see signature links on the Digital Point forum.

I think if the signature is relevant to the forum, it may have some value. But Google chances its algorithm so much that the only way to know is to test.

The one thing that works for forums?
So far, for active forums, google does a good job of indexing new threads.
So any searching for keywords in that thread means a post in that thread is there for all to see, including any outbound links.

But be careful on the threads you post in, as it seems google does not index or show in searches those that are duplicates of other threads in the same forum.

EG: start another thread in here with the same title as this thread and it may not be shown in results.
