Thread: Freelancing Impersonation

I have notice many people are starting to freelance thinking it is this godly way of creating website and making money. I personally think freelancing is a pain and is not what people make it seem.

Do you like freelancing? If so why?

Freelancing is tough, there is no doubt about that. And the beginning can be really bad.

If you have the time and skills, you can get into freelancing.

Its like spare cash when you start your online career.

I like it just because it is the easiest way for someone like me (workaholic, people-based, skill-based) to make money. Sometimes the clients can be irritating, and you have to meet deadlines, but I learn a lot from it.

I like freelancing as i can do it in my free time and earn some cash.

But I agree it is a pain and you cannot really make a career of it.

Yes most people make it seem like this all mighty job when really your money is not reliable every month.

I like freelancing a lot. It earns me some nice money to help develop some sites of mine.

That's actually wrong. You can make a reliable business out of freelancing, as the people on freelanceswitch.com often do. Eventually I'm sure you would grow your business over time, but you can make good money with the right clients. My mother is a freelancer and manages to pay her way.
