    Goal Setting

Goals are very important. They produce the determination and strive towards success.

Not only is this an attempt to get you to think of a goal. There are a few extra measures I would like you to take...

    • Tell people. Tell everyone in the household what you intend on doing. Post a reply, let us know.
    • Don't just aim to reach it. Aim to exceed it.
    • Don't procrastinate.
    • Think of something achievable. Do it!

i got my own way of reaching goals

    1. Plan for the 12 months
    2. Highlight the keyarea to be notified in this 12 months
    3. Discuss this in meetings if we have any.
4.Execute them and check with deliverables. If, any failure analyse the reason for failure.
    5. If, you are an team then check whether your team is doing good enough or not??

    Thanks

It scares me how well goal setting works in helping humans to achieve success -- myself included!

This is a very powerful motivational tool, because it takes goals outside of our heads and makes them real in a very emotionally important way.

It helps to make your goals, and what you want to do once you reach them, very specific so you will be rewarded.

    I.e.
Learn another language so I can talk to new clients and get that lucrative contract.

    Or,

X amount of earnings in Y time. Then, reinvest it, go on holiday with your family, buy the car you always wanted, etc.

But saying 'I want to be rich' as the only goal is just to vague.

How to eat an elephant? One bite at a time.

    Hi,

Being rich is not a goal.

Becoming Wealthy is a by product of a Goal.

I agree. And at the end it's all for improving our lives and that of the ones we love.

A lot of what people believe is rich are in reality expenses. Drinking a $200 bottle of wine or spending $500 on meal doesn't make you wealthy. The goal should be capital accumalation. Capital allows you do work less and get a higher return on your work through increases productivity.

$200 bottle of wine and $500 on meal don't make you rich but once in a while in your life it is damn good

My goal is enjoying life, and quality of life with my family.

I believe more in motivation and organization which are facts than plan. Planning is just abstract for me.
