my son is a talented game programmer who won a few game coding competitions and I suggested to him to create a blog or tutorial site on this topic.
He codes on the PC using Microsoft Visual Studio C++ Express and uses the dark GDK, develops 3D models, integrates sound from musicians etc.
When I search on Game Programming though, there is already a large number of authority sites out there.
Are there any gaps in the market that you can think of where you wish a game programming site existed. For example, one that has easy to follow tutorials and maybe doesn't require a lot of prior experience with C++ and development environments.
One idea would be to explain how to make games using HTML5.
Hopefully you can identify some gaps in the current game dev websites that could be improved upon.
Looking forward to your suggestions,
ok, so more visual than text-based.
I don't understand what you mean. I already asked for advise here.It is nice idea to develop the game programming site but i tell you one thing you need to take advise from some senior person. It is really important.
