Thats a good idea but sometimes i like the melted ice cream more than when its frozen although that only works in a bowl.
Coldstone Creamery appears to have come out with an ice cream that doesn't melt. It just sort of turns into a pudding-like consistency. Nom! Nom! Nom!
Wish we had one here!

I'm afraid to find out what they use in it to make it "not melt". Of course, its nothing revolutionary, Dippin' Dots has that one ice cream that doesn't melt and they have been around for AGES.
Cold Stone already has an ice cream that doesn't melt. It's their fat-free (sinless sans fat) ice cream. Seriously, buy some and then go put it out on the asphalt and see what happens. It doesn't melt, it doesn't cook, it just sort of slithers away. That can't be good for anybody! P.S. Try it with walnuts and double graham cracker crust. The poor schmuck behind the counter will love you for this. NOT! (These are three ingredients that even in an industrial-strength blender will resist bonding beyond all natural laws of physics.)
