    By one guy, Polish president, wife, chief of staff, all dead

    Alot of important people died in that plain. If the pilot would not have ignored the commands from the tower of base, it could have been prevented.



    What do you think ? I find it such a tragedy

    I don't think the pilot took the decision himself, with such important people on flight. I am sure, the bigwigs on the flight must've asked the pilot to do it.

    I agree with Sanket but ultimately the responsibility is that of the pilot (captain). It is his responsibility to make sure everything runs smoothly and from the moment when the passengers get on board to the moment they disembark it is his duty to make sure everyone is safe! (With the help from the Flight Attendants in the cabin... and the co-pilot)



    I feel sorry for the whole of Poland! They have had a rough time...
