Thread: Paypal Alternatives

    Paypal Alternatives

There are countries where Paypal does not allow receiving money, as with my country, Fiji Islands. Fiji accounts are able to send money but not receive. What would be the best options available to me to receive paypal payments (even if there is a moderate fees) and withdraw it as a bank cheque, transfer to a non-US Bank account or wire transfer the money.

Please do not recommend other payment processors, like Moneybookers, eGold, etc. Hardly anyone uses them. Since majority people prefer payments via Paypal, is there a facility or service that allows receiving payments from Paypal users in this case?

  2. Escrow.com is the safest way of transferring money when selling sites.
And the buyer can pay via PayPal to Escrow.com.

Thanks Farrhad. I am not too familiar with how Escrow works, so correct me if I am wrong.

Buyer pays to Escrow-> Escrow takes a bit as charges->I can request for Bank transfer, Cheque, Wire transfer, Western Union transfer, etc from Escrow (and I do not need a Paypal to receive money)

  4. Yup, like that.

And you get paid only when the transfer of the site or whatever is completely done and one thing:

The buyer can choose a 'check' period of 1/2 days to check the site.

And Escrow.com covers website protection to buyer and seller while PayPal does not and that is why sellers get scammed by buyers.
