Question Why it’s birthday, not birth anniversary?

If somebody dies, we observe his/her death anniversary every year. If somebody born, we celebrate his/her birthday every year, not birth anniversary. Suppose I born in 17-Aug Thursday, and then my birthday should be Thursday, right? So, if we celebrate every year, we should say it birth anniversary. If weekly, then it’s birthday. What do you think about it?

It's the birth day, the day you were born.. Even if you celebrate it only once in 25 years, it remains one day in a single year

I don't see the point actually..

Just vague if you can understand

    Birthday - It's TODAY

Anniversary - One more year passed.. Ouch.. am getting older..

Think of those wedding anniversaries.. we're happy with more andmmore successful years.. old good relationships.

Let it be birthday.. it feels good.
