As i said before we will be providing additional services from which we can earn. For the same we have tied up with some other services providers to offer services to our client. Our New design is almost done we are facing some issues with the scripting so we have not yet implemented the same.

Where is the server located? Single or multiple servers? What is your uptime? will it go slow down some times?

Our Server is located in US. Multiple Server -We use RAID protected storage so if there is any problem with one server immediately other server acts as a back. this way we avoid data lose. Also when you update any file it get saved at multiple server on real time. For Last 3 months our uptime is 99.68% as against committed 99.5%

Can you please go into this more? RAID is just a local method of redundancy. How have you implemented it so it spans across multiple servers? At $5/yr this seems impossible. It sounds like you're using drdb or something across the internet. Is this what you're doing? I'm just trying to figure out what you're talking about here.

Thanks for contacting. I wanted to mean as follows

With a RAID array hard drive contents are duplicated or 'mirrored' on one or more additional hard drives. The files stored on the main drive are updated on an ongoing basis on the extra drives, acting as an ongoing backup.

Multiple drives containing the same content helps prevent data loss should a hard drive fail.

For some reason if there is a problem with server. This disk act as a backup on new server in case there is some problem with server.

I know what a RAID is, but I'm curious is how you manage to two servers acting as one in a RAID. What sort of software do you use to do this? You do this without DRDB? Wouldn't it create a huge slowdown in any disk I/O? Going from 7200/10k RPM to actually having to transfer data over the internet before the disk reports it was successfully written to. That must be god awful slow.

I'm sorry for creating confusion, I wanted to mean that we use raid technology to store data. And we have backup server so that if main server fails for some reason we maintain our server uptime by replacing the disk in new server manually.
