    New WebHost - HostFever

    G'day Fellow Members,

One of my associates contacted me lastnight regarding a package being offered on that forum we all love to hate

    The 106 package from
    HTML Code:
    www.HostFever.com
$14.00 for 12mths Unlimited - Price locked in for lifetime
Couldnt help myself so purchased a few packages,
The guy Dan that owns/runs the show is only a young fella
trying to do some good, needless to say he gets both thumbs up
Everything was set up within 3-5mins & up & running.
The actual thread can be seen
    HTML Code:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1313792
Anyway that's it from me, be sure to read the thread as there is a promo code to submit which drops the price down to the $14.00

    Enjoy & regards,

Thanks for the topic, though.. How old is the owner? I've nothing against them as I'm a young entrepreneur myself, but I saw a lot hosting companies come and go, and those that have gone away are mostly the ones from students at the age of 16 that are tired of it and give up.

Do you know the age of him or not?

I'm not so concerned about his age but selling unlimited packages for a year just isn't that smart.

Lets think about it - say the server was $120 bare minimum a month. (not including cPanel licensing etc.) That's $1440 a year - meaning he has to sell 103 of these packages just to break even. Somehow I doubt this host will last that long.

It'd be better if they labeled it 100mbps unmetered but even still the server is going to be going fairly slow with the amount of accounts required to just break even.

    Valid Points

    Good points Nathan,

Nice to see a reply from someone that is in the same business as the young fella mentioned in the opening post, I understand your point completely on a financial basis, I think he was just trying to get business going so to speak, hit the ground running.

Anyone that is prepared to have a crack @ his/her own business with the economy's the way they are at this particular moment in time I give full credit to.

Once again thank you for putting your point across for myself & other members to read!

    Regards,
