A few days ago I signed up for a $1 trial of The Keyword Academy Pro program,it does seem like an interesting program.They have monthly webinars and teach you the basics of internet marketing everything from keyword research to link building.

Their lessons start with their so-called "Core Videos" which consist of:

• How to Choose the Right Keywords For Your Websites Part 1
• How to Choose the Right Keywords for Your Websites Part 2
• How to Set Up Your Niche Websites and Configure Wordpress
• How to Efficiently Create Content for Your Niche Websites
• Link Building: The Key to Search Engine Rankings and Traffic
• How to Use Statcounter to Increase Your Traffic and Make More Money
• How to Install, Configure, and Test with Google Adsense
• The Anatomy of a $5000 Per Month Super Site
• How to Sell Niche Websites for Quick Cash

For the keyword research they have a formula for calculating the potential every keyword has,they advise to create a large list of keywords,then filter them to those that have a potential higher than $50/month and delete those that are too competitive.
They determine competition by page rank and if the exact keyword is in the title of the pages located in the SERPS.
Basically their rule is that everything over PR4 is too strong to beat with a niche site and should be avoided.

Regarding link building they also have a somewhat controversial strategy,according to them building too many links the first month might actuality but bad for your site and should be avoided and a strategy like this should be used:
Day 0-30 - 25 single links
Day 30-60 50 single links
Day 60-90 massive link building and linking to keyword posts for ranking purposes.

Do you have experiences with The Keyword Academy and what do you think about their strategy ?

Do you pay with paypal and will they then automatically take $ from you monthly unless you cancel?

Yes its subscription based on paypal,the first month is $1,everything after is $79 if I remember correctly,I have some 20+ days remaining,so I want to make the best of my time there,the webinars are ok,but I personally wouldn't go beyond the first month.

yup that's my plan,I have already downloaded all the webinars to my computer,in case I don't watch them in the 30 days...

Unless they offer something really unique and useful, only someone already making a lot of money on the web would pay their $79 per month fee for any length of time. However, if someone is already successful, they probably do not need the information found in their membership site.

What makes the membership worth $79 per month?

Those sites usually claim that no1 ever cancels their subscription, whereas almost everyone probably cancels lol

Nothing really,the basics are worth the $1 but that's it,the offer monthly webinars (not really worth the price tag) and a forum (NB beats it anytime) and that's about it....

Yup! you are very true.. netbuilders beat them. You have a lot of resources here which are more than enough

Some time ago, I followed The Keyword Academy for some time and I think they do good stuff. However, to me it is one of those many services around the net that you have to dedicate yourself to once having a subscription, or else it won't be worth the money. If I would spend much of my time dealing with keywords, i probably would take a subscription.
