Wordstream Free Keyword Tool

The Wordstream Free Keyword Tool is a nice alternative to Wordtracker's free tool.

You can punch in a keyword and it will suggest related keywords. You can get 100 keyword suggestions for your keyword, or for your keyword and the related keywords you approve.

The tool shows Relative Volume as a bar graph on the screen, but if you click the button to copy the results to your clipboard you will get them as raw numbers.

I don't think this will replace any tools in my keyword research toolbox, but I do think it will make a nice addition.

It will definitely be a nice addition to the array of tools which we already have. Planning to use it for cross-checking purposes.

Today, I received another Wordstream Newsletter announcing their new Keyword Grouper and Niche Finder Tools. Included was a link to a very nice guide about Keyword Organization. It is also downloadable as a pdf. Keyword Organisation

So far, I haven't used Wordstream intensively but that is about to change. What I like about Wordstream is that they provide informational stuff understandable for a relative beginner like myself.

I have always believed that the more data you can pull in (demographics and traffic statistics and information from services like Google Analytics), the more likely you are to have a profitable business, assuming you utilize the collected data properly. A tool like Wordstream is great in the way that it helps you do a bit of research and find well-targeted keywords to get you off on the right foot.
