Thread: Wordtracker vs Wordstream

Recently I've purchased a trial one month for both service.

I find that Wordstream SEO is still a PPC oriented product. Even though it really says "Wordstream for SEO" it really circles around tasks you NEED to do for pay-per-click but it doesn't really offer many features that are essential for SEO research (competition etc.)

Wordtracker is a much simpler tool that seems to offer keyword suggestions and competition estimation. I was disappointed at its level of sophistication but on the other hand its simplicity is also a plus.



Thoughts? Anyone else got any good suggestions for premium KW research tools? I've tried quite a few including Market Samurai before as well.

I've mostly been using the Google AdWords Keyword Tool and Wordtracker.

Both annoy the heck out of me, but everything else seems worse.

I honestly expected a lot more from Wordtracker at the monthly subscription price of $59

Doesn't anyone have better suggestions? Anyone tried IMEye?

What were you expecting? WordTracker's generally pretty accurate, and that's about all you can really ask for, as far as I'm concerned!

I'm trying out Wordtracker at the moment. The KEI data is very useful. The only minor point i encountered so far is that only US and UK territory data is available.

You know need a login to use the free word tracker tool.
