Thread: Banning IP addresses by server

    at shell write this command
    iptables -A INPUT -s <IP> -j DROP
    if you have APF
    apf -d <ip>
    dont forget to replace ip with ip you want to bann

    But any of those way work 100% because these only works for those who has static IPs. Majority get a random IP from their ISP and also others can use proxy sites. So its a pretty hard thing to get it done 100%

    just use cpanel 11&#39;s clever ip banning system

    easy to use, easy to manage, done.
