Best CMS (Content Management System) in your view

These days there are a lot of Content management systems (CMS) available.
Some of the most popular CMS are :

Joomla, Mambo, Drupal, PHP Nuke, Post Nuke, Xoops etc.

If i ever get in a situation to use a CMS,
I would prefer Joomla over any other established CMS script !

I like joomla too but it has some security related issues like register globes on/off
I have used e107 its was also good.
PHP nuke is good for portal based site.
Drupal looks good on professional sites

I like to be a smart alike here and say my own :P currently under development though :( taking far too long

Right now, at this time - I think its Wordpress. But that can change overnight.

Over the years I have seen a lot of CMSs come and go. I have seen the rise and fall of phpnuke, postnuke, phpbb,,,,, and several others.

Just because some CMS might be good today, does not mean it will be tomorrow. Their could be a security issue found and the developers are slow to respond. If that happens, then I move to something else.

Astonishingly no one mentioned Wordpress till the previous post.
My views are :

Wordpress : Not so Developer friendly, Hardly any programming knowledge needed, moderately good for blogs and medium sized sites.

Joomla : Drupal's lil' brother which is quite developer friendly, needs a bit more knowledge in HTML/Css than Wordpress, Admin priveledges are not as up to the mark.

Drupal : You know PHP, HTML, CSS?? Drupal has to be your platform, its absolutely the best if you want a complex CMS which is visually amazing and way powerful than any of its competitors.

I have to agree on this one,Wordpres would be best for non-programmers
Joomla i dont like because of its security loopholes and taxonomy system and a few others things
But if you are a hard-core coder,nothing beats Drupal

Also, I'm finding Drupal really isn't all that hard, even without hard-core coding ability.

Hi,

I know nothing about Drupal at all.

But between Wordpress and Joomla.

I would pick Joomla. Used that on the first site I promoted I still like some of the things it did.

Downside It was hacked :(
