Found Joomla much easier to skin than Drupal the template was much easier to customise and more online tutorials on how to go about customising. Both have plenty of bolt-ons and good support, its worth looking for the modules you need for both before making any decisions as you can always purchase a skin and customise fine tweaks to get it to look the way you want.
I would go with 1) Wordpress 2) Drupal 3) Joomla
Drupal is the best but you will need a good coder.
Wordpress is easier as there plenty of free templates and plugins.
Joomla has nice skins but the backend is not user friendly.
Well I think Joomla is answer for your all questions, Actually I am using Joomla CMS and I believe in this in terms on user knowledge. It is very friendly with user and easy to adding content, meta tag, adding more pages etc.
