Thread: FileZilla Server -"Failed to retrieve directory listing" FIXED!!!

Hello guys,

After hours on trying to fix the "Failed to retrieve directory listing" issue for the ftp FileZilla server
I finally got it fixed.

The problem in my case was windows firewall.

A quick fix:
Go to your windows firewall Settings:>>>Exceptions>>>Add Program>>>Browse>>>FileZillaServer.exe

Then browse where your FTP server executable file is. And here was my problem. I had two .exe files on that folder:
1 - FileZilla Server.exe
and
2 - FileZillaServer.exe

Make sure you use the second (FileZillaServer.exe) and NOT the first one (FileZilla Server.exe)
Notice the space within the file name.

I hope this solves your issue with your FTP Server...

Great but I these steps we have already used but not getting any luck. It would be great you disable your server firewall.
