Thread: Grabbing posts from a SMF Database?

Well pretty much im going from SMF > MyBB , and i can't do a convertion over becuase i need php5 or above .

Since the forum is pretty small i was thinking of just restarting but grabbing the important posts from the database manually.

Any ideas?

I'm confused. What requires PHP5+?

SMF requires PHP 4.1.0. MyBB requires PHP 4.3.11+ with XML Extension installed.

Maybe the converter needs PHP5. I can do the conversion for you buddy. Small fee.

Yeah the merge system needs php5 , im thinking of doing it localhost but would be a pain installing smf / mybb and then restoring databases then merging, seems a long process.
