Thread: Numbers Arn't the Same Bandwith.

Hi,

How does bandwith work?

Just noticed something.

In cpanel it said my Monthly Bandwidth Transfer 2303.69 so far for mo.

But in Awstats it said Nov 2009 1.79 GB

Why are the numbers not the same?

I'm guessing that Awstats is the transfer caused by page loads of images etc as opposed to the cpanel monthly bandwidth transfer that would include emails, ftp etc.
