    ONline Business for sale, $1,000,000.00

A friend of mine is asking me to help sell his online business:

I am looking to sell out my business. It earns about $15,000.00 per month, even after expenses.

I am not interested in selling it via DP or most webmaster sites, and am hoping you might know of a place to start. I am looking for someone, or some site , that deals in high end web site sales. I would expect to sell this for approx 1 million.

I have known this man for a few years and can verify to his honesty and integrity and if anybody here wants more information or has advice on where to go to sell, please let me know!

    Mike

1,000,000$ for a business that earns 15,000$? You need more than 66 months (More than 5 years) to finally get a return of investment?

    I think that's a lot of money

I doubt he can get $1,000,000 for a $15,000 a month revenue site. Not in this economy. But he could try SitePoint marketplace. There's a lot of good genuine buyers in there.

$1 000 000 is definitely too much. Nobody would buy an online business (high risk) when they could invest it in the bank and earn more than twice as much (very low risk).

No one there is no need for such investments. I always can find cheap labor force that will elevate him to the heigh in on line bussines.

If the revenue have been stable for a few years and the biz requires limited involvement it's possible. I've seen similar revenue sites sold for a million.

You can check, or list it here to get some interested buyers, but the best way is of course to contact some investment brokers firm who will find the buyer for you, they aren't cheap but it's worth the money.
