Not necessarily, but that seems to work for him. Ad networks work for Will. Affiliate networks work for Nathan. Services work for Ash.

Exactly. Different people with different skill sets. Some of the skills can be applied accross all the options we talked about.

I just mentioned it because I don't see anyone else here who actually sells products.

I sell real estate. I need a better closer, but the online promotion thing works well. It´s not very competitive. Anything Costa Rica related is not that competitive. Whatever you like doing should be what you focus on when you build sites, and then expand from there.
What surprises me to see is how much money competitors spend on internet marketing and how so many of them lack serious results. I´m pretty well connected in the RE world, so getting a few good links is not that hard. However, the business aspect of it still needs major work before I get to the point where I am comfortable.

That is something that I have been wanting to try for a long time, except that I would want to use a drop shipper. I'm not ready to stock and ship products, so I will have to accept the lower profit margins that come with using drop shippers.

I want to find a niche that I'm really in love with before I get into products. I started with gun accessories, but got bogged down with just how many tiny parts there were. The idea of handling that many customer returns caused me to lose sleep.

I'm thinking maybe something big, like golf carts? I don't know yet.

Oh man, I've always wanted to be in Costa Rica, and I consider myself a good closer (I've been in sales management and coaching for the last ten years). What are the immigration requirements for getting into Costa Rica?

You automatically get a 3 month visa without applying for one from the U.S. And my business partner is a Costa Rican lawyer who can help get you a work permit. Let's talk on messenger sometime.

I think that from the UK, immigration laws apply to you equally.
