I know I for one hope that feature is added to his program. Would be nice to finally start getting revenue again if the user feels the ads are none intrusive. That tag will be a great start to compromising with webmasters.
Is there a way for us webmasters to block users who have AdBlockPlus installed? :D
I would also be interested in something that would detect them and possibly give them a pop up box asking them to disable it but it would need to work for no-script also since people who install adblock have no-script installed too
I might just redirect them back to the AdBlockPlus home page.
There is a way to display something that looks like an ad, check to see if the browser displayed it, and if not show something you want.
To all haters, see this page: Anti-AdBlock V2
Greetz :D
Now that is cool. Tested with ABP it here alviras.com/adblock_banner_test.php and it still works. All though it requires a person with some html/css knowledge to work on a live site. Tried on alphabetproxy.com to test it out and still shows the site but gives the text at the top of the page so can put a polite request to disable it. Guess after some thought no sense wasting the bandwidth and will if I can a redirect to mine.
