Any idea if an exercise forum would have comparable value to a health site?

It might, but I'm not sure. Probably it will if you are talking enough about legal pills that can help for your body etc

But even if it isn't profitable through Adsense, an exercise forum makes me think that you could sell a lot of small products from affiliate programs related to it
