How can I position my widget sponsorship?

I have written a widget sometime back.

Now, I see that it has become hugely popular among blogspot users and rank 6th on front page of Google for the term.

I released it in Sep 2008 and just in a matter of 8 months (240 days) it has given me some 5150 back links from various sites. ie ~22 links/ day.

Now I am looking to get monthly sponsors for this widget. Even if you take a modest target of 10 links/day, it should fetch the sponsor at least 300 links in a month.

I would like to know how can I position the monthly sponsorship of such a widget? What should be the ideal price?

Pricing is usually set by "what the market will bear", so the best way to set initial pricing is to look at your competitors.

If you can't mention your own URL, can you post the URL of one or more of your competitors?

Is anyone else selling links on Blogspot widgets, so that you can compare against what they are charging?

I am sort of surprised that people don't just edit the plain text links out of the code.

G search doesn't reveal any competitors as such. Surprised to know its my novel idea

The widget is released on this condition that no one should remove the credit links. Except for a couple of people, so far I see people abiding by it.

If someone is removing link, that will amount to piracy, as it with any other illegally acquired software.
