hmm...there are many ways of earn money online with wordpress blog u just put affiliate links in your blog side bar and put ad sense code and then promote in good pr bookmarking sites when blog will get well ranked in SERPs you can generate revenue from it
I'm not keen on this kind of question since it perpetuates the myth that you must use WP to make money online and rank in search engines.
Maybe a good answer is "provide a service to create WordPress themes/plugins and setup WP for customers"?
