Thread: How to put ads on a facebook fan page?

One of the face book page of mine is having more than 1000 fans. It is very popular and am getting some good traffic from the same page to my websites. I got this by placing wall posts and by sending updates with link to my website to the fans of the page.

Some of the friends who are having websites showed interest in my facebook fan page and asked me whether am ready to show/put their ads on my facebook fan page.

I don't know how to put their ads on my facebook page except doing wall posts of them. How do I put my friends ads on my facebook page?

Thanks for checking this question with us. Ads that the user see while they are navigating through our site are served by Facebook. Therefore they will need to use our Advertising platform, but bear in mind that you cannot select a specific Page to display your ads. Please let know your friend our contact details in case they want to know more information about how to place ads in Facebook.

Hi friend, thanks for taking this much care in the query. My doubt is clear. But the thing is I have seen in many forums people giving threads saying i have a fanpage and you can put their ad or etc. I think you might have seen that too.. I think they are telling about links or wall posts placement. Won't it like that?

It's definitely possible. I stand by my earlier recommendation that you PM the people doing it and ask them how they're doing it. They may have an application that does it for them. Facebook does allow third parties to advertise through apps. Here are some examples of apps people use to monetize Facebook. Maybe one of them fits into your advertising model.

If people are circumventing the Facebook Ad system, I doubt Facebook would admit it.
