Just got an email that my infolinks account is approved so I'll give it a try on one of the sites
For me... They are the best in intext link industry . Kontera don't have much advertisers these days. I have exceeded 100$, going to recieve my first payment on May 5
I finally applied to Infolinks. The application process was easy, the approval was quick, and the ad implementation was painless.
Now I get to see how the earnings are.![]()

I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.
I got it on two sites with two accounts currently.
They don't have any separate reporting, so if you add two sites into one account you can only see total stats.
One site gets 4-5 cents per click on average and the other averages 9 cents a click. About 2-3 times less than adsense clicks, but that's probably as good as you can get.

After four days, I have some daily average stats to share:Net Impressions: 5,114These numbers don't mean too much without knowing how InfoLinks defines them. Luckily, InfoLinks publishes the definitions they utilize:
Clicks: 214
Page CTR: 4.19%
Page eCPM: $3.72
Earnings: $19.04Net ImpressionsOverall Review of Infolinks
The total number of times your web pages containing visible Infolinks in-text ads are displayed.
Web page impressions where no Infolinks in-text ads are visible are not included in this number.
CTR (Click Through Rate)
The percentage of clicks per impressions. The
CTR is calculated as the total number of clicksin your Infolinks in-text ads receive divided by your total Net Impressions. [Clicks / Net Impressions]
Page eCPM (Effective Cost Per Thousand Impressions)
Your total earnings per thousand Net Impressions. This is calculated by dividing total earnings by Net Impressions and multiplying the result by 1000. [(Total earnings / Net Impressions) X 1000]
$3.72 eCPM is awesome, but the Net Impressions number looks low. That most likely means that a lot of pages on my test sites aren't showing Infolinks.
Unfortunately, because I didn't record which sites I placed Infolinks on and because the Infolinks reporting portal doesn't provide per-site reports -- I have no idea how many real "page views" it took to create that many "Net Impressions." My gut tells me the number is around 15k page views for 5k new impressions. That would make actual eCPM around $1.24. That's not too bad at all, considering that this required almost zero effort on my part. It's almost "free money".
Based upon these results, Infolinks has earned some head-to-head tests against the market leaders: VibrantMedia IntelliTXT and Kontera. I just have to figure out how to measure those results. I've sent a note to Infolinks asking them how I can get per-site reporting.

Thanks for sharing your stats Will. Do you run Adsense on the sites you were testing Infolinks on? If so, has adsense revenue been affected at all after implementing Infolinks?
I run AdSense on some of them, some of them are testing AdSense replacements.
I've done testing in the past and similar links from Vibrant MediaIntelliTXT and Kontera did not have a measurable impact on AdSense CTR.

yeah, I get similar stats, a bit less traffic though![]()
But the daily views are actually about 2.5 times less than my pageviews in cpanel, however they are pretty similar to the daily uniques numbers. Which is weird..
here is for one site:
