Thread: Innovative Ways Of Getting Donations

Hi,

Sometimes people prefer donations instead of ads.

There was a good discussion going on HERE.

So one of the innovative ways is the WP Plugin, Buy Me A Beer.

Another nice one is on GayaDesign.com(look at the sidebar).

It says "Buy Me A Pizza".

Well, if I really like the content and it helps me I always do my bit and donate.

Do you think these innovative ways can get people to donate more?

Sometimes a 'donation' button makes you feel like the blogger is asking for money. But these methods like Pizza and Beer makes it look like fun and people may donate.

Donations make things sound serious, these methods are fun.
