Smile Looking for Adsense Alternatives For Content Based Sites

    Hello all,

First off, I would like to begin by saying that I don't have Adsense. It really sucks, but for unfortunate reasons, I don't have it. I have several sites that rank #1,#2 and #3 for high traffic keywords, but these sites have not been monetized yet.

I am looking for an Adsense alternative. Things have changed in the past few years, and I don't really know how the ad networks are doing for the publishers.

What would you recommend? What Ad networks are you currently using?

    Thanks

Infolinks I use on two blogs.
Average just a little over one penny per day!
Going to have it added to other blogs to see if I can raise that considerably.

Now testing peerfly and soon another..

Many ways to monetize a site other than crap adsense.
    Amazon, clickbank are two alternatives.
    Affiliates - Prosperent
Pay Per Click Advertising - In Text Ads for Websites by Infolinks
Plus finding affiliate products that match your site (pain the butt, but well worth the searching).

Isn't Kontera and/or VibrantMedia good? I heard (long time ago) that Will said they were pretty good after Adsense, but still way down the line compared to Adsense.

Kontera hasn't really worked for me. Has anyone had success with infolinks.com?

i have earned well from infolinks. My website gets 20000-30000 uv per month. I get nearly $50/month from infolinks.

The problem I see with infolinks:
Took about a week on each blog for the keywords to finally have something decent that had to do with the keywords.
But still, keywords will off and on have non-related ads.
So that tends to turn people off to hover over a keyword like "swimming pools" and see some site on the little pop up that is about shoes.

And I think they do pay terrible, so their advertisers must not be high paying either.

VibrantMedia is good for large sites. Well that is what I have heard so far.

As far as Amazon / Clickbank, they are good choices. I was aiming at text link advertising, so Infolinks might be a good choice.

    Has anyone tried Clicksor?
