The most succcesful people with Adsense

Although it is old, John Chow's post on The Internetís Biggest Google Whores is a very interesting (and famous) article concerning 8 personalities all making at least $10k a month from Google Adsense.

    http://www.johnchow.com/the-internet...google-whores/

Look at the date of the post... 2006. Can you ever imagine how much those people are making now? (At least it's sure that Mr. Hogan makes more than 10 000$ per month, especially when we see how much popular DigitalPoint is.)

Here's the list (person's name - website - monthly income form adsense):

    1: Markus Frind: PlentyOfFish.com - $300,000
    2: Kevin Rose: Digg.com - $250,000
    3: Jeremy Schoemaker: Shoemoney.com - $140,000
4: Jason Calacanis: Weblogs, Inc. (sold to AOL) - $120,000
    5: David Miles Jr. & Kato Leonard: Freeweblayouts.net - $100,000
    6: Tim Carter: AskTheBuilder.com - $30,000
    7: Joel Comm: Adsense-secrets.com - $24,000
    8: Shawn Hogan Ė DigitalPoint.com $10,000

Honestly, I don't know how someone can manage to make more than 350,000$ in a month from Adsense. But I sure could afford that.

Does it make more sense to anyone else?

I think Digital Point earns way lesser than 10,000$ now.
Since the last two months the forum is going down hill.

The admin is just not interested in the forum.

  3. Brandon is right I read a blog post that said that DP's income has taken a steep fall.

About the admin being inactive, well, I guess he has done his bit and he is lucky that it has continued.

Actually the reason DP is where it is today is it's timing, when it started there were no big webmaster forums.

  4. DP is going down and WebmasterPeers is taking it's place, right?

  5. Hahha!

Well, as of now WMP is NO WHERE, not even a fraction close to DP.

I created WMP to help, learn and interact with people.

Earning from WMP is my last priority.

How old is Digital Point now? http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://digitalpoint.com
    10 years old.

    How old is WMP now?
    2 months old.

Farrhad actually, you are doing a very good job already.

I think you could even beat Digital Point when WMP is 5 years old, and make more money than them.

Yes, Farrhad. Gloson is right WMP is rocking.

And it is nice to know that you have not started WMP just to earn money, there are very few people like you.

I like the concept of WMP and also the name. Good luck Farrhad! I'm sure this forum is going to be a big one in the next 1-2 years! Just keep it to yourself and don't allow anyone to acquire it even if you're offered a million dollars (I'm just kidding, ask for 2 million and if it's a yes.. give 1 to me for this tip! aha)

I wonder if Will Spencer would be in the list if somebody made an updated version of it
