One cent... a penny, worthless - right?

If you see one on the street, do you pick it up?

Do you care if you drop one somewhere on the street?

Do you tell the cashier at the store to 'keep the change'?

Most of us strip all value from the penny, but in all reality, we shouldn't!

It hit me a few seconds ago and I figured I'd share it with you all.

Let's start with some basic math:

s = mh ; where s is equal to total seconds in an hour, m is equal the number of seconds in a minute, h is equal to the number of minutes in an hour

There are 60 seconds in a minute and 60 minutes in an hour. Therefore:

s = 60(60)

s = 3600 (There are 3,600 seconds in one hour.)

Let's say that you gain exactly one cent every second for one hour.

$0.01(3600) = 36 | This means you will produce 36$ an hour.

If you make 36 dollars an hour for 24 hours, you produce $864.

Make that for an entire year and get $315,360.

So what is my point?

Develop a method that makes a mere one cent per second. Remember that this doesn't require you to actually take in one cent per second but rather one cent for each second in a specific period of time. Meaning if I make nothing for 5 seconds and then on the 6th second make 6 cents, it's the same as if I made one cent per second. Hope that makes sense...

Is it possible to make 1 cent every second?

If it's only a mere penny, it cannot be quite that difficult, right?

Discuss!(I have an idea... but I'll post about it later. Right now I am off to bed! Ponder it for the day.)
