One Cent
One cent... a penny, worthless - right?

If you see one on the street, do you pick it up?
Do you care if you drop one somewhere on the street?
Do you tell the cashier at the store to 'keep the change'?

Most of us strip all value from the penny, but in all reality, we shouldn't!
It hit me a few seconds ago and I figured I'd share it with you all.

s = mh ; where s is equal to total seconds in an hour, m is equal the number of seconds in a minute, h is equal to the number of minutes in an hour

There are 60 seconds in a minute and 60 minutes in an hour. Therefore:
s = 60(60)
s = 3600 (There are 3,600 seconds in one hour.)

Let's say that you gain exactly one cent every second for one hour.
\$0.01(3600) = 36 | This means you will produce 36\$ an hour.

If you make 36 dollars an hour for 24 hours, you produce \$864.
Make that for an entire year and get \$315,360.

So what is my point?
Develop a method that makes a mere one cent per second. Remember that this doesn't require you to actually take in one cent per second but rather one cent for each second in a specific period of time. Meaning if I make nothing for 5 seconds and then on the 6th second make 6 cents, it's the same as if I made one cent per second. Hope that makes sense...

Is it possible to make 1 cent every second?
If it's only a mere penny, it cannot be quite that difficult, right?

Discuss!

(I have an idea... but I'll post about it later. Right now I am off to bed! Ponder it for the day.)

I don't really bother with cents. Most of the bodegas don't charge tax so everything is rounded.

When I was living in the real world, the amount of pennies that I received would really add up. I has a huge glass bottle and it would fill to \$200 :)

You are right, Pennies add up.

This logic is sentimental, but let's face it, it is the same mindset which makes people spend hours spamming blogs and such rather than planning out a strategy less time consuming and more effective.

While you stand still and pick up the penny, you may miss the bus to be at the right time and the right place for something so much bigger.

True that for the entrepeneur pennies are meaningless. Pennies count more in retail or in terms of managing a large Business enterprise.

You're right. If I didn't pick up all the penny clicks that adsense has, I'd be broke :)

Costa Rica must be kind of expensive. Have you ever been to Honduras? It's probably what Costa Rica was in the '70s.

I was thinking about going to China back in the early '90s but never made it. I had a job teaching English lined up but it really wasn't for me. The Asian girls are beautiful but they aren't fiery and caliente.

From what I have been told, Guatemala and Columbia are THE places to go.
