    Over-Monetization: Bad news!

This image speaks for itself. I was visiting TwitterGallery.com when it bombarded me with a massive number of pop-up windows and advertisements, many of which had those exit javascript windows, which resulted in me actually having to end the Firefox process in the Task Manager! This is a prime example of how NOT to make money online. All of the windows you see are from this site...

Well yeah, that's the nice thing of simplicity. I find it much more cool to surf a simple oldish website like Tech-Faq (sorry Will, but that's my point of view about it ) over an over monetized web 2.0'ish website like the one you posted

that's really annoying. I (and other visitors) would never visit the site back and that could result in no repeat visitors so that site owner loses traffic and revenue

Thats my opinion too aquarezz, I cant stand flash websites, I love old school websites and I have noticed they get accepted faster in DMOZ

all my recent websites have an old school design and they are coded by me

Yuck. I hate websites like that. I even hate the ones where there is a link and the second you hover over it, a window pops out with an advertisement. I have internet bandwidth restrictions and monetization methods like that are not only annoying, but extremely inconsiderate. I never return to sites that are over crowded with junk.

Yeah, I hate it too. I am using unlimited ADSL internet connection but I still don't like this kind of advertisement, if I accidentally hover my mouse over more than 2 links those ads will almost blocks all the paragraph..

    cheers,

Here are the kind of ads (Annoying) I don't use, haven't used and most probably never will

    1] Pop ups
    2] Pop unders
    3] Full page ads
4] In-line ads (Infolinks or kontera type)
5] Audio ads (That automatically play)

BTW twittergallery.com worked fine for me as all pop-ups were blocked by my browser, so I wasn't annoyed in any way.

True, but if you will ever try a fucked up niche like proxies you'll try out popunders. There is no other option, it's the only way to get some RoI from your proxies

YES. Those horrible things. I'm coming across more and more websites that use them and they really drive me batty.
