Strangely, secrets don't seem to be that important to success in this business.
SEO is really simple:
- Build content
- Build links
Affiliate marketing adds additional complexity involving things like conversions, but even that is a fairly well understood science -- and you can buy books on that stuff.

My "shortcut" is buying good sites. One site I bought a couple weeks ago was making about $13 per day, after I rearranged adsense and added some more links and content it's up to $25-30/day. Starting sites from the beginning takes too long :o I like to have that leverage of having an established site already.
