Strangely, secrets don't seem to be that important to success in this business.

SEO is really simple:

1. Build content
2. Build links

Affiliate marketing adds additional complexity involving things like conversions, but even that is a fairly well understood science -- and you can buy books on that stuff.

but secrets are shortcuts. You can get some free or cheap high pr links here and there, but it's usually a one time thing that can't be a strategy.

My "shortcut" is buying good sites. One site I bought a couple weeks ago was making about $13 per day, after I rearranged adsense and added some more links and content it's up to $25-30/day. Starting sites from the beginning takes too long I like to have that leverage of having an established site already.
