The flames in the flippa.com: It's alive! thread are very instructional, but the responses from the SitePoint founders are amazing. They really don't care if their customers stay or leave. This is the kind of short-sighted thinking you typically see with first-time entrepreneurs!

I agree. I can't believe what the admins wrote.

Arrogance and greed.

This action on their part is creating, overnight, a new set of competitors for SitePoint.

Maybe NB should start a marketplace too!

The SitePoint owners finally started listening to their customers and acting on their feedback: YES, we are listening to you… I promise!

Some other people are trying to beat them; although they should have a better plan and name that isn't the same like the original one

Well, if I have to choose between Flippa & SiteFlippa I prefer Flippa

i think they should cancel the fee if you not get it sold. 30 days is to short

I discovered a couple days ago that the seller can force the buyer to pay all or part of the fee.

One of the auctions I BINed earned me a 2nd invoice -- from Flippa!

It wasn't a lot of money, but I was quite annoyed at the surprise.

how do you mean? the seller can ask flippa to send the bill to you?

After the sale, Flippa sent me an invoice for an additional $5. I was unpleasantly surprised.
