Thread: Viagra Sites Link Question

Hi NB,

I monetize my blog via links and one prospect came up to me asking if I was interested to link to an online pharmacy selling Viagra and the like.

Are Viagra sites bad neighborhood to link to?

The site is currently at PR 3 and registered since 19-jul-2003. I feel it is safe, but the amount of spam I get on my mailbox with Viagra makes me think twice.

Would appreciate your thoughts.

It seems to me that this depends upon what niche your blog is in and what type of link it is.

I'd feel relatively safe linking to a Viagra page from a health blog. I'd feel considerably less safe with the same page in my blogroll, or from my SEO blog.

I agree with Will, but it looks as if you'd be okay linking to it. If Google assigned it page rank and it's been indexed and shows in the cache as being the site your linking to then it probably shouldn't hurt any.

I would not link to anything that promotes Viagra. Its such a spam related topic, its not worth the trouble.

If you have a website which is quite different from selling medicines and such things then its not a good decision to get or exchange links with it.
