What is against Adsense Rules legal wise?

I've read the ToS and everything, but there are somethings that I am still a bit confused about. Where is adsense not allowed to be placed? I know it can't go on adult sites or websites that promote illegal activity, but could someone clarify what they consider illegal? Are "illegal downloads" considered against ToS? I have a website that is actually about pirating (but I can work around it easily and not have anything about pirating on it.) and I don't know if I should put adsense there or monetize it differently.

Instead of the AdSense ToS, read the AdSense Program Policies.

In particular, look at the Content Guidelines:
Sites with Google ads may not include or link to:

    • ...
    • Any other content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity or infringes on the legal rights of others
Illegal downloads (warez) "promotes illegal activity" and will eventually get your site kicked out of AdSense and may very well get your account closed.
Submit Your Webmaster Related Sites to the NB Directory
I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

Ouch. OK, it appears as if I am going to a lot of grey area with this niche. I think I should find a safer way to monetize it. I can't risk getting into trouble with Adsense!
