Question What do you do with your unused names?

    Hey guys,

I was just wondering what you all do with your unused domains, and also had a couple more questions.

Do you park your unused domains? If so, who is the best to go through? I tried Sedo but, the clicks amounts were worthless!

Do you setup minisites, and place Adsense ads or affilaite ads on it?

What is best, in your opinion, Adsense ads or affiliate ads?

I have about 40 domains, and I have setup website on most of them. I set them all up with WordPress blogs, and then use adsense injection tools and automated posting plugins to fill them up with content automatically but, the clicks aren't coming in! So, I think maybe I need to try something new, and would appreciate your advice on this matter.

Thanks in advance guy and gals!

I have 1.3k domains and I have to say, Domain Parking won't do anything unless you have a good amount of generic .com or ccTLD domains. It doesn't take time to setup: that's the beauty of domain parking. Also, only taking into consideration type-in traffic, you will usually make way more with domain parking than with a minisite.

Minisites and blogs are what use to work - but it usually takes months for them to start getting decent traffic (with exceptions).

I'm now thinking of redirecting all my domains on a specific niche to a single CPA offer, and doing the same with other niches if it work out well.

Excuse me if this is a stupid question but, what is a CPA offer?

Well it's not a stupid question. Sorry, I assumed you know what was it.

In parking you get paid every time someone performs a click. That's PPC (pay per click advertising) or CPC (cost per click advertising).

CPA stands for Cost per Action (i.e. you get paid when someone sign ups to a site, or when someone requests a Free Trial, or simply when someone inputs their email).

If you need more information on how to start marketing CPA offers or where to find the best ones just let me know.

Yes, that would be great. If you can give away free stuff, and get paid for it, you can't go wrong!

    I'll PM you now.

    Thanks added.

1.4k domains all leading to 1 could be pretty epic. I'd assume you would generate quite a bit of traffic.

    Agreed.

1300 is a powerload, hopefully some of them are worth a dime. I have about 200 and have hit the jackpot only twice one sold for $500 and another $1100 but it barely covers renewals.

I buy 5-6 a week at the moment, but there are better ways to earn a dime.

I have a ton of unused domain names. As it stands...they might just end up expiring.

Whenever I feel that domain is not useful then I build some gallery or proxy site on it and then sell it to others on cheap and affordable rates .
