WP MU/Buddy Press and adsense

are any of you using buddy press? Which adsense plugins are best and do you see success in monetizing on social network communities?

I'm not using it. As I uderstand it buddy press will add a social network layer to the wordpress blog. What are the advantages?

I'm testing it now. www.firetown.com
Traffic has gone up. Not sure why, but something about it seems to work. (excuse the mess, site not where it needs to be)

I built a buddypress site mostly to see how it ran and then pretty much forgot about it. Checked it a month and a half later and found out a 100 people have joined. I ahd thrown an adsense block on the site but no clicks were recorded. This was to be expected as there was limited content. The amount of signups did surprise me as I had other social sites I promoted, not buddypress and hadno success at all. Sorry, don't recall the plugin I used.
