You probably don't know this but there was a guy (Serb) who saved lots of Croats from military camp and he gained medal of honor/bravery from Croatian government. But you didn't know that, nor you want to known!

There you go again. Lumping us all together.

Yes, I actually did know that. There are many of such cases all over the world and all throughout recorded history.

Just an observation, but it is extremely arrogant of you to presume to know what I do and do not want to know. Your assumptions make you appear ignorant. Perhaps you should get to know people before judging them. Why not start with Americans.

Your arrogance aside, yes, the same logic applies. Hollywood has yet to find a solid market in movies where the heroes throw guns away and everyone helps each other. The media will often vilify anything they can in order to sell the news. I wasn't exactly commending them earlier for their role in deceiving others. Bear in mind, the media's views don't exactly represent the views of the the majority of educated Americans. I suggest you take what you see in the media as well as what you read on the internet with a grain of salt.

Educate yourself before making unfounded assumptions and stop believing everything you see on the news. The media isn't out to educate you, they're out to make money by any means possible.

I'm really sorry but when I said 'you' I was referring to quoted post before yours, he clearly shows what he knows about Yugoslavia... "At least Iraq is more civil than Yugoslavia."
And as I said I do not hate/judge Americans or any other nation, I hate people (individuals)(even Serbs!) who use war to their advantage (to get rich/have fun?!) while civilians are dieing.

Ahem, believing everything on TV? No, I do not.

I said the news and internet.

I don't presume to know you. Look at the clips you've posted and review your subsequent response, then ask yourself why I would say that.

I am often prone to bouts of arrogance and I freely admit to it, but I am not arrogant about this. I am however, an American who is tired of people bashing us and not backing up their arguments with substantiated fact.

So if you're going to attempt to bash my countrymen, you'd better have a damned good reason for it.

Will terrorist sheep do the trick?

Ahh, dumb me! That video must be a part of some kinda plot called "let's make Americans look bad".

When you/I see one video with bad behavior you can say "Ok, it happened only this time". But when you/I watch video after video showing same bad behavior shouldn't you ask yourself "what is wrong with those people (individuals)"?
I started this thread to see what people think about those (mentioned) individuals, I did not meant every single USA citizen... America should look after its good reputation earned in WW2 and not allow fools like those to ruin it...

Yep. Those would be American's behaving poorly.

So how do you propose we look after our reputation? How do you control 300 million citizens? Are you effectively asking us to adopt the tyrannical methodology we fought so hard to eradicate during WWII? Or are you asking that we take a more collectivist stance against people who throw grenades at sheep?

God only knows why they were doing it. Maybe they were terrorist sheep.

That's up to you and other American citizens do decide, and not to control citizens but the army personal.

Yes, it surely was a terrorist sheep on the way to America to take few buildings down with its wool. They had to take it down with smoke/flash grenade because it was a matter of national security. (lol)

What makes America great is that we don't control our people, drazeN; we attempt to educate them. If they break the law, they are usually held accountable for their actions.

Military regulations are fairly stringent. They fall under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which is separate from the tradition US justice systems. Again, these individuals have been educated. If they do not follow the rules, they will likely be reprimanded.

If you believe the Allied forces did any good at all during WWII, you won't lightly toss around the idea of controlling anyone.

Anyone with half a brain won't hold 300 million people accountable for the silly behaviour of a scant few.

I expressed myself wrong (English is not my native language) when I said 'control', I meant keep "in check" not full meaning of the word 'control'.
Example: You work in bank and of course you won't come to work half naked because you know what's gonna happen (get fired). But these individuals keep doing bad things, which leads to conclusion that they are not afraid of being punished.

I'm repeating this for how many times already... I'm talking about mentioned individuals, not some 300 mil. people you keep involving in all the time. And very nice from you, switch from conversation to insults... Thank you.

I think I'm done with this thread, it seems like you can't talk with anyone about serious topic without them switching to insults.

You began the thread with the general statement:

    No wonder everyone hates US
After that, you did mention individuals, but then you made a B-line right back toward your original stance as you continued to post footage of more Americans and to stress that it wasn't one, it was many.

Then you repeated it was individuals again, but you decided that the military should be "kept in check," and that it was the responsibility of the citizens to do so. Thus, the citizens have failed in their duties, so once again the blame is back on all Americans.

Therefore, if the population of the US is currently 306 million, subtract the non-citizens, illegal immigrants, citizens under 18 and others who are ineligible to vote, you're still asking a lot of people to take responsibility for the antics of the scant few.

Sorry mate, it really does seem as though you have a vendetta against Americans. This thread likely wouldn't exist if it was about specific individuals.
