Thread: Connecticut mass shooting tragedy

We have a different perspective here in Arizona. Our Sheriff Joe wants to provide firearms training for qualified teachers. There are a large number of responsible teachers, contrary to what the actions of the few that pollute the minds of our kids seems to indicate.

I like the approach in Utah, as well.

Teachers Flocked To A Free Gun Training Course After The Newtown Massacre

Programs that allow qualified and trained teachers and administrators to carry firearms makes much more sense than hiring armed guards who will spend 90% of their time doing a whole lot of nothing.

Got to remember, about 1/3 of schools in USA do have armed guards.
The elites send their kids to schools that have armed guards.

    Teachers with guns?
    Bad guys will go elsewhere....
Like to the next school that has signs that say "Gun Free Zone".

The truth is that the biggest murderers are governments. I worry that this government is stockpilling enormous quatity of ammunitions, just to beginning this year 2013, the government bought another 200,000.00 rounds with hollow point bullets which put the total purchase of 1.6 billions rounds between 2012 and 2013.

Me thinking that they are preparing for something huge. Do you have any idea what would it be?

Governments have murdered hundreds of millions of their citizens and those under their control. The questions are, then, how is this democide defined, is genocide included, how many have been killed, how do we find this out, and what sources can be used?

Look at history and all the nations....
All at one time or another killed off various tribes, clans, cities, etc that did not fit the government view.

My thoughts are that they are preparing for the economic collapse that they know is coming. Most Americans are pretty complacent about government--until people start to go hungry. When that happens, the riots will be worse than anything you have ever seen in any zombie movie.

If you follow Alex Jones, he has some compelling evidence that FEMA incarceration camps are being built all around the country in remote areas that were former military bases.

Obama has already illegally circumvented the Posse Comitatus Law by authorizing the military to use deadly force against American citizens in time of crisis.

Too many government agencies, including the IRS, are stockpiling weapons and ammunition. I don't think that is just to enforce ObamaCare.

The next chip to fall will be gun confiscation because they cannot accomplish the One World Order objectives unless the US economy collapses and all citizens are disarmed.

Ten years ago I would not have believed that any of what we are seeing today would be possible in the USA. Now I think that anything is possible in this screwed up world.

The White House is weighing a far broader and more comprehensive approach to curbing the nation’s gun violence than simply reinstating an expired ban on assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition, according to multiple people involved in the administration’s discussions.
A working group led by Vice President Biden is seriously considering measures backed by key law enforcement leaders that would require universal background checks for firearm buyers, track the movement and sale of weapons through a national database, strengthen mental health checks, and stiffen penalties for carrying guns near schools or giving them to minors, the sources said.

To sell such changes, the White House is developing strategies to work around the National Rifle Association that one source said could include rallying support from Wal-Mart and other gun retailers for measures that would benefit their businesses. White House aides have also been in regular contact with advisers to New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg (I), an outspoken gun-control advocate who could emerge as a powerful surrogate for the Obama administration’s agenda.
The Biden group, formed last month after the massacre at a Newtown, Conn., elementary school that killed 20 children and six adults, plans to submit a package of recommendations to President Obama this month. Once Obama’s proposals are set, he plans to lead a public-relations offensive to generate popular support.
“They are very clearly committed to looking at this issue comprehensively,” said Dan Gross, president of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, who has been involved in the discussions. The proposals under consideration, he added, are “a deeper exploration than just the assault-weapons ban.”

This is just a charade, where are the real experts? It looks like an executive branch committee, nothing meaningful like they annonced. Pretty sad that the gun control advocates are so disrespectful of the innocents that lost their lifes for pushing their own political agenda of control.

I was skeptic about that TopDogger, but not anymore. That's real real bad, the history repeat itself again and people have no idea how horrible it will be.

There are hundreds if not thousands of crimes that are prevented every day due to responsible citizens with handguns, and only a small number of murders related to handguns. The exceptions are the cities where handguns are banned, such as Washington DC and Chicago.

Stricter laws will do nothing to prevent the tragedies that have recently occurred. The Connecticut school murders could have just as easily been accomplished with a knife or a baseball bat. The common threads with all of the recent shooters is that they were gamers on psychotic drugs.

As far as the upcoming ban on assault rifles, one interesting statistical fact that has recently come out is that more people are killed annually by hammers in the USA than assault rifles.

How Chicago Became The Deadliest City In America

So how did things get so bad? It started with massive cuts to the Chicago Police Department.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel drew the ire of Chicago's police union last year when he proposed slashing the police department's budget by $190 million, The Chicago Sun-Times reported. There was also speculation that Emanuel would cut about 1,400 police vacancies, which would save the city $93 million.
“How does ‘eliminating vacancies’ save $93 million when zero dollars were being spent on the vacant spots in the first place?” Chicago Fraternal Order of Police President Mike Shields told the Sun-Times. “That’s some real Enron-style accounting.”
How Chicago Became The Deadliest City In America - Business Insider

Isn't a great job? Blame the law abiding citizen (scapegoat) for skyrocking crimes, when in fact Mayor Rahm Emanuel cut police budget by millions.

I have never and will never close my mind towards conspiracy theories, which doesn't mean I will always announce my beliefs. I just find it scarry that most people considering some conspiracy theories do tune in to a guy like Alex Jones who has been aggressively promoting what has long been revealed as blatant fear mongering.
