I spent a lot of time in both Hong Kong and Taiwan in the 1990s. I do not think the Taiwanese will want to re-unite with China unless there is an economic benefit in doing so. If they agree to let them continue to self-manage, like they did with Hong Kong, and there is an econimic benefit, then they could agree to re-unite peacefully.

The main method for China to gain influence is to use their economic advantages, like their cheap labor and their heavy industry. That will increase their influence in the world much more than any invasion of countries will do.
However, they did conquer alot of countries in that area of Asia allready, so I wouldnt even be amazed.
Yes, they now have huge economic clout. I suspect they will continue to keep using it for a long while yet.
I doubt that they will attack India. They are both nuclear powers as far as I know. There would be millions dead on both sides for sure!
The Chinese regime is oppressive but it is still rational. That's why I just can't see this happening.
i was also saw news that china making ports on pakistan, lanka and bangladesh and covering India from all sides.
India is a peaceful country but we know how to handle conditions.
It's probably all jst a conspiracy and both countries might actually want the war just to get
their population down to reasonable levels each country has over 1 billion people living in it
and in around 30 - 40 years they both might hit 2 bill each and they wont be able to cope so
you never know they might just be planning it all
If will be such a war to decrease the population, will be a biological "war".
