In the 1970s, Carter welcomed the Hmong refuges from Cambodia, many of which settled into the Rice Street area in St. Paul, Minnesota. They immediately stole and ate just about all of the dogs and cats in the area. These were mostly family pets. The majority of these refuges refuse to work and have been living on welfare since the 1970s. They claim that we promised to take care of them forever if they assisted us during Viet Nam. Most have still not attempted to integrate into American society, although some of the newest generation is starting to do so.

After the Blackhawk Down incident, Bill Clinton prioritized the immigration of Muslim Somalians. Minneapolis now has over 36,000 Somalians, most of which live on welfare and have help bankrupt the state. Those that do want to work are given priority for Federal government jobs, such as at the Post Office distribution centers. The problem is that almost no Somalians integrate into American society or try to learn American ways. They have turned the south side of Minneapolis into a growing war zone. It is hardly recognizable today relative to what it was when I lived there in the 1980s. Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison represents that district.

Politicians are giving our country away a chunk at a time. It seems that each new Democrat president has to find a way to import future Democrat voters. Obama has his choice of gay partners from overseas, Syrian refuges, or Mexican illegals. I suspect he will chose all three.

I am from rural MN, though I did live in the burbs for a decade or so, and I can assure you it is like this all over the state. Somalis and Mexicans, competing for cheap space. They fight in stores, non-ebt grocery transactions are rare, auto accidents everywhere, schools having to adjust schedules or shut down because the taxpayer contribution does not cover the number of students in school, and on and on. It is so frustrating out here, because you have the minorities who vote in those who will continue to dole out "entitlements" and the old-timers/farmers who still believe that all Dems = DFL.

I didn't know that the Democrat-driven immigration plague had affected most or all of rural Minnesota. Sorry to hear that. I know it shocked a lot of people a few years ago when over 10,000 Mexicans marched through downtown St. Paul. When I moved to Minnesota in 1976, it was a great place to live and raise a family. Today, it is turning into another Liberal cesspool.

I just don't understand why working people continue to support the Democrats and their overtax, overspend and "the more the merrier" welfare policies. The new tax policies that Minnesota's Governor Goofy wants to put into place will make Minnesota the #2 highest taxed state in the country.

Listened to the president pitch "immigration reform" (aka: amnesty) and his remarks indicated they have a sterling record on illegal immigration, having "fixed" the problem. He just makes up whatever the hell sounds good at the time... and nobody holds him to the facts. It's just astounding. If he said the moon was made of cheese the news would print it as fact without a negative comment.

Our border is pourous, and he acts like those that think that is an issue are just racists. It's freakin unbelievable. Guarding our national border is one of the primary jobs of the federal government. There was no such thing as federal welfare for the longest time, but he thinks that is the primary role.

This is the same guy who was a part time lecturer at the University of Chicago (never was a professor), who taught Constitutional law classes (that does not make him a Constitutional scholar), who frequently referred to The Constitution as "a deeply flawed document because it does not spell out what government is required to provide to the people." Perhaps someone should explain to Professor Scholar that The Constitution and the Bill of Rights was put in place to protect us from overreaching government and tyrannical leaders. We are not supposed to be dependent upon government for our needs. It is supposed to be the other way around.

The more amnesty you give, the more sovereignty you lose. Without sovereignty, what is a nation?

It doesn't matter if Obama and the Dems lose more ground. The influx of illegals will more than make up for the losses. The US Supreme court just shot down Arizona's law requiring proof of citizenship in order to vote.

When I moved here in 2003, anyone who was in the state on election day was entitled to vote. Apparently 7 states had laws like this. The issue was so badly abused by Democrats literally trucking busloads of Mexicans to the voting stations that the real Arizona citizens rebelled. Of course, because few of the Mexicans spoke any English, they had to be coached how to vote by Democrats. This is a true story.

Honest taxpayers are completely losing control of this country and it is rapidly transforming into something that it was never intended to be, and will never function as a free country. Every day that passes takes us closer to George Orwell's 1984. I am half-way through a re-read of the book and this far the only part that he was wrong about is the year. My thoughts are that the book should have been named 2025. If the Dems stay in control that long, everything in the book will become reality.

Another win for the Clinton Crime Syndicate and the Cloward–Piven strategy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In this video, Glenn Beck touches on the real reason why Bill Clinton and the Democrats pushed and subsequently passed The National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA), also known as The Motor Voter Act. You'll also see video footage of the NVRA signing ceremony. Guess who is in attendance? None other than Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. The Clinton White House invited them to the ceremony and Bill Clinton shook both their hands.

No matter what the political elites may have told us, the real purpose of the NVRA was to make voter fraud easier and more accessible. Can anyone say ACORN? Can anyone say SEIU union thuggery? Is it simply a coincidence that Wayne Rathke, the founder of both organizations, was a disciple of Cloward and Piven? Does any sane person believe that ACORN's voter fraud activities were not part of a much larger plan

Let's see how the "Gang of Eight" reacts to Senator Ted Cruz's admendment to the Schumer-Rubio bill/ The New Yorker is reporting that all changes to the bill need to go through Obama.

"Just filed amendment to immigration bill that permits states to require ID for voter registration" Senator Ted Cruz wrote via his official Twitter account. http://www.cruz.senate.gov/record.cfm?id=344087

Also, this is just another case why comprehensive immigration reform won't work. There's some many loop-holes in current immigration law that the only way to fix them is through a "piecemeal approach".

Without dismantling the "Sanctuary Laws", It won't take long to reach double-digit illegal numbers in 5 more years.

The US is sure to have 6 million illegal aliens by the end of 2014 or less than two more years. The math works as follows:

    1) Schumer-Rubio has a December 31, 2011 cut-off. So, that's 3 million new illegal aliens from the start.

    2) There's at least 2 million illegals that are not eligible for amnesty due to criminal records or ties to terrorism.

    3) At the minimum add another 1 million visa-overstays of people that are legally in the US right now.

Even though Arizona just lost the Supreme Court decision about our law requiring proof of citizenship in order to vote, according to our state attorney general, the decision also laid out a plan to re-enact the law if some simple changes are made to the law. He is pursuing that. This issue is not yet dead.

One of the aspects of Arizona that I really like is the fact that our conservative leaders do not hesitate to put up a fight when the Federal government is stepping on our toes. This state has been fighting the Feds regarding states' right issues for over 150 years.

I think they need to add some teeth to the changes to the visa bill. Add a $10,000 fine for overstaying a visa and deny the person a visa for the next 5 years. If they cannot pay the fine, deny them a visa until the fine is paid.
