What is your take on the recent threats we've been seeing from North Korea and Iran?

They are just testing Obama to see if he is as weak as they believe he is.

  3. and he pretty much is showing he's weak.

Iraq, supposedly had WMD = go get saddam outta there. Which was 100% fake fed by bad Iran intelligence (Saddam admitted to only making up WMD's so he didn't appear weak to Iran.)

North Korea confirmed nukes = lets talk about this, and try to put in place imaginary trade blocks

Now there is a huge problem of a hugely broken Iraq without anyone really holding it together (ruthless dictator or not thats all Saddam did good was hold Iraq together), now Iran should invade that place any time now (either themselves, or with a group like Hezbollah) and take a good bit of control in the middle east. Then position themselves to be a huge super power with nukes.

Good news. Kim Jong-Il has pancreatic cancer.

That is a death sentence. It will be interesting to see what happens in North Korea after "Dear Loony" is gone.

Unfortunately, that is the nature of communist dictatorships.

North Korea amd Iran have been ongoing problems.

North Korea has been using negociations to play the US off for the last 20 years.

Iran is learning the same trick.

Of course, the US government would not fall for tricks like that.

    You know what they say,

Fool me once, shame on you.

Fool me twice, same on me.

Fool me three times, shame on me again.

Fool me four time, shame on me once more.

Fool me five times. . .

Fool me six times. . .

I wonder how long these games will go on.

North Korea and Iran are problems. But the US is sitting on a powder keg South of the Border.

In 2003 the Bolivian President Gonzalo Sanchez de Lozada was forced to resign after he signed an agreement to export natural gas to the US. Leftist protesters supported by Hugo Chavez laid sieze to the capital and there was no support from the US.
    CNN.com - Bolivia's president resigns - Oct. 17, 2003

There's a leftist surge in South America and the leftists are doing anything to stay in power including changing the consitutions so that the leftist presidents can stay in power as in Ecuador, Nicaragua and Venezuela.
Chavez is going so far as attacking Police stations that are controlled by opponents.

Just recently the Honduran Congress stood up to a power grab by leftist president Manuel Zelaya and Honduras has received no AMerican support. Obama has thrown in with the cool kids Sandanista Daniel Oretega, Fidel and Raul Castro and Hugo Chavez. Not exactly poster boys for democracy.
