The issue with the Republicans are the RINOs (Republican in Name Only). I don't know how many times I hear people say that there's no difference between the Republicans and Democrats.

You know the people are right. The Republican party is full of RINOs like Charlie Crist, Jan Markowski and Arlen Spector. When you vote republican and you vote for these people: What's the difference?

Bogart, just wondering, what politicians in the Republican party do you admire the most? Do you think Gingrich will run for President?

Sadly, responses like yours are rare. Obama wasn't voted into office because of his stance on the issues. If the majority of our voters had actually questioned him about his agenda, and understood the repercussions of what he was planning, he would not be President.

Obama was voted into office because of his popularity. It really is about who can rise out of that mudfight looking more immaculate.

Thanks. But, yes, Obama was voted into Presidency with what appeared to be little, but a vague promise of hope and change. I'm not sure if you would agree with this part, but I believe President Bush made it really easy for him. Especially with the extremely unpopular war in Iraq, many people felt as though they were not being represented. I remember at the end of his term as well, beginning the bailout of all the banks. If I remember correctly, a majority of Americans were against that, but the Bush administration did it anyway. Then, after Obama was elected, of course, he made the Bush bailout look like chump change. But really, all Obama had to do to win was say, "I'm not Bush!" (Since, for many, McCain just seemed like an extension of Bush).
