  2. The Birther Movement is Obama's Fault cleared up a lot of misconceptions I had about this story.

Something fishy is going on, but who really wants to see Joe Biden become President?

The article raises some good points, but the user comments reinforce all of the misconceptions. This image shown is not the original birth certificate, as many BO supporters claim. A genuine Hawaiian birth certificate looks like all other American birth certificates. It is hand-written, contains details about parents, and is signed by the doctor. This is, as the author states, simply a document that shows that an original does exist. The original can only be released with Obama's consent.

I am still curious as to why the certificate number has been blacked out. There doesn't seem to be any legitimate purpose for doing that. The number supposedly indicates when the Certificate of Live Birth was actually filed.

You are right about babbling Joe, but things could be far worst than that. Nancy Pelosi in the next in line after Joe. Yeeeeeeee-ikes!

I have to believe that there is something on the original document that Obama does not want us to see. Another Democrat, Bill Clinton, refused to release his health records, supposedly because they indicated he had a social disease.

I glad the author mentioned Kerry's academic records, which ultimate proved him to be a liar and a "slacker" in college--which he repeatedly called Bush during the campaign. I would still like to see the the records that Kerry used to get 3 Purple Hearts in 3 months time for band-aid wounds while in Viet Nam. He has never released those records (although he claimed he did during his campaign for president) and his former commanding officer said he never approved the Purple Heart paperwork.

There's a lot of questions concerning Obama. I read that he had travelled to Pakistain in 1980 when at the time Americans were banned from travel there. Is it possible that he had traveled on an Indoniesan Passport?

Obama has produced a copy of a Certificate of Live Birth which is not a birth certificate.

The birth notices in the local newspaper don't mean anything. Back at the time it was fairly common for the Grandparents to call in a birth announcement to the local paper.

So here's the question. Who was the attending doctor and what hospital was Obama born in?

Those items appear on every legal birth certificate in the USA, but not on the document that naive people are trying to claim is BO's birth certificate.

I've read that some people people belive that Frank Marshall Davis was Barry Obama's father. Frank Marshall Davis was a mentor to the young Barry. It's kind of strage that the Durham's would have Communist Party USA member mentor young Barry.

Based upon what I've seen from BO, it makes perfect sense to me.

Obama may have attented Occidental College as a foreign student.

    Obama kindergarten records
The Maui News reported that Obama attended kindergarten at Noelani Elementary School on Oahu during the school year 1966-67.

According to the Hawaii Department of Education, students must submit a birth certificate to register. Parents may bring a passport or student visa if the child is from a foreign country.

    Occidental College records
Obama arrived at Occidental College, a small liberal arts school in Los Angeles, Calif., in the fall of 1979. He only briefly mentions the school in his 1995 memoir, "Dreams from My Father."
Obama attended the school on a scholarship. Some question whether the financial aid he received was reserved for foreign students.
