    Obama's Birth Certificate?

Interesting that he'd go through so much trouble....

Sec. 2. Notice of Intent to Disclose Presidential Records.

    (a) When the Archivist provides notice to the incumbent and former Presidents of his intent to disclose Presidential records pursuant to section 1270.46 of the NARA regulations, the Archivist, using any guidelines provided by the incumbent and former Presidents, shall identify any specific materials, the disclosure of which he believes may raise a substantial question of executive privilege. However, nothing in this order is intended to affect the right of the incumbent or former Presidents to invoke executive privilege with respect to materials not identified by the Archivist. Copies of the notice for the incumbent President shall be delivered to the President (through the Counsel to the President) and the Attorney General (through the Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel). The copy of the notice for the former President shall be delivered to the former President or his designated representative.

    (b) Upon the passage of 30 days after receipt by the incumbent and former Presidents of a notice of intent to disclose Presidential records, the Archivist may disclose the records covered by the notice, unless during that time period the Archivist has received a claim of executive privilege by the incumbent or former President or the Archivist has been instructed by the incumbent President or his designee to extend the time period for a time certain and with reason for the extension of time provided in the notice. If a shorter period of time is required under the circumstances set forth in section 1270.44 of the NARA regulations, the Archivist shall so indicate in the notice.

Don't you just love legalese gibberish? The irony is that legalese is intended to clarify an issue, or at least that's what I was told when I took a few graduate level law school classes several years ago.

There is a suit by California attorney Dr. Orly Taitz, who claims that the social security number that Obama used at Harvard, in Massachusetts and in Chicago actually belongs to someone who lived in Connecticut and who would be 119 years old today. She scheduled a meeting with John Roberts and the US Supreme Court prior to the election. Her appointment was mysteriously dropped from the schedule the day after Obama was inaugurated and they refuse to re-schedule it.

The first digits of a social security number identify the city and state where someone lived when they applied for their social security card. Obama has never lived in Connecticut. The plot thickens with the many strange mysteries about Obama that he refuses to respond to.

I heard a radio interview with her and she sounded credible.

I tend to avoid conspiracy theories, but there's definitely something off about this situation.

How difficult would it be for him to just produce the friggin' documentation and move on?

He's the President. He can even have new documentation drawn up.

The main reason to withhold an actual birth certificate is because he cannot produce it. His actions (or lack thereof) are driving the conspiracy theories. In this case, the evidence seems to indicate that Americans may have elected the first illegitimate president. The social security number issue and the stories about BO traveling on an Indonesian passport in his younger days just add icing to the cake.

He basically tried to do that when he decided to run for the presidency. It looks like the Certificate of Live Birth (not a legal Birth Certificate) that he displayed on his web site was applied for in 2007. His sister also has a Hawaiian Certificate of Live Birth, even though she was born in Indonesia.

State law bars the release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who does not have a tangible interest.
However, Obama's birth certificate along with birth notices from the two Honolulu newspapers were brought forward even before he took office. But that's done nothing to shake the belief by many Obama critics that the president was born abroad.

I don't really care about any of this, I just find Orly Taitz hilarious, I mean where does she find the time, what with being an 'attorney', a dentist, and a real estate agent. I wish I had that much time in my day.

This is the part that is incorrect. Obama has never produced a legal Birth Certificate and that is why this persists. He has produced a Certificate of Live Birth, which is not a legal Birth Certificate. In Hawaii, there are two types of birth documents. Anyone can file for a Certificate of Live Birth with a affidavit from any Hawaiian citizen who claims that the person was born in the state. That is not proof of a birth and is not a legal birth certificate.

Obama's sister has a Certificate of Live Birth from Hawaii, even though it is well established that she was born in Indonesia.

Take a look at the Certificate of Live Birth that Obama posted. That document does not resemble a Hawaiian Birth Certificate, which would be filled out by a doctor and hospital. A Certificate of Live Birth does not list a doctor or a hospital because they do not file that document. Also, Obama has blacked out the certificate number. Why is that important? Because it makes the document verifiable and the numeric sequence establishes the approximate filing date, which has been reported as being 1970 and not the date shown on the certificate.

One of Obama's aunts claims that she was there when Obama was born, yet she has never left Kenya.

I have never seen any evidence of the birth notices. Do you have a Hawaiian newspaper site where these can be found? There is so much smoke-and-mirrors with everything related to Obama that I would not believe anything posted on a blog site. First of all, Birth Notices in American newspapers are very rare and unusual. Two would have been even rarer. Second, unless the source could be verified, it is likely a forgery, not unlike all of the other forgeries that are frequently spewed from the left.

If you read most of the articles that declare that Obama has produced his birth certificate, you will see that they are merely referring it the Certificate of Live Birth, which is not a legal Birth Certificate.

These articles also frequently explain why the legal Birth Certificate has not been produced. "State law bars the release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who does not have a tangible interest." This is an accurate statement. The State of Hawaii will not release a copy of BO's legal Birth Certificate without BO's approval. He has not given that. Personally, I think the American people who elected him do have a tangible interest.

Obama could clear this up in a heartbeat if he just produces the legal Birth Certificate that would have been filed if he was born in Hawaii.

It is not the conspiracy theorists who are extending this issue. It is Obama himself.

I think that its great that Obama is the first Kenyan elected into office. The hospital where he was born in Kenya is putting a bronze statue of Obama in front of it as inspiration to all.

The truth with this issue will probably never be revealed while BO is in office. The media, who played a major role in getting him elected, is doing a great job of misinforming the public and supporting the White House story. As usual, their investigations into BO's history and activities is very shallow.

Hawaiian officiald claim to have seen BO's official birth certificate, but cannot release it with out BO's approval, which he has not offered. However, this is not a sworn statement and it is coming from a Democrat official in a state that was a big Obama supporter. I need more than the word of a partisam politician.

Like I say, Obama could clear this up in a heat beat if he wanted to, but I do not think he will. Even if it exists, to release the official document now would make all of the news media outlets that supported him look foolish for accepting the story that the Certificate of Live Birth is an official Birth Certificate.

If any of these guys would take five minutes to read the basis for the law suits, they would see where the real issue lies.
