South Korea Joins Ban on USA Wheat Imports

It appears that the contamination of wheat products with GMO (genetically modified organism) products is out of control and causing bans on the importation of US wheat into several countries. South Korea just joined the list.

For those that have not been following this, Monsanto is the producer and patent holder for varieties of herbicide-resistant GMO wheat, corn, soybeans and other seeds. They have been suing farmers who traditionally keep a portion of their seed stock each year for planting the next year if the seed contains Monsanto's patented GMO technology. That raises the cost for farmers because they have to buy 100% of their seed stock new each year. The problem is that some of the farmers never purchased any GMO seeds and are finding that their fields are becoming cross-pollinated with Monsanto seeds borne by the wind, bees and birds. Nonetheless, if the crops show any evidence of Monsanto's GMO technology, the farmer is not allowed to keep and use any of the seeds from his own crops. The Federal courts have thus far sided with Monsanto.

Beyond this issue, there are huge concerns about potential health hazards associated with GMO products, which have not been tested on humans. One curious part is that Obama is supporting Monsanto on this issue, rather than the middle class farmers he claims to represent. That probably means that Monsanto has deep pockets when it comes to supporting Democrats.

In the case of the soybeans controversy, the Monsanto GMO seeds use Roundup Ready technology, which means that their Roundup herbicide can be sprayed directly on their genetically altered soybeans, which will kill the weeds but not the soybeans. I don't know about you, but I do not think I would want to eat anything that has been sprayed with a herbicide. It is bad enough when we have to eat the pesticides that farmers use.

In a suit that could change the direction this, a Kansas farmer is now suing Monsanto for allowing their product to contaminate non-GMO crops.

Monsanto has a long history of recklessness, and the regulators (mostly Monsanto insiders) failed to regulate correctly the GMO. For example, the regulator request studies for 3 months on 30 rats which is unthinkable when millions of people eat GMO.

Also, Monsanto pushed his bill "Monsanto protection act" and President obama signed it. You need to know that President Obama during his first term compaign promised to label GMO, but has conflict of interests with Monsanto.

As you can see on this video, the study was conducted for 1 year, surprising that Monsanto passed the bill Monsanto Protection Act sometime after the study. I am sure that is a "coincidence".

I know a surprising number of formerly healthy people who have had recent bouts with cancer. Some did not survive. I am wondering if things like this are part of the problem.

I read an interesting article last night that says sweet corn, the most popular type of corn sold in the USA, was the first genetically modified food. It was developed while exposing corn to radiation in the 1920s, which created a mutation.

This reminds me of the 1950s when Kent was selling a brand of cigarette with a Micronite filter that was supposed to be better than other filters on cigarettes. In turned out that the filter was made out of blue asbestos and this particular type of asbestos was so virile that tens of thousands of people died from lung cancer. It was so bad that wives who washed their husbands' work clothes developed lung cancer. Some people who only visited the factory one time also developed cancer.

When you have some time, watch these videos.

    Vaccines In GMO Foods

There are many more documentaries, they even put vaccine in GMO and tested in people volunteers, then they were sent in ER, some died. They experiment many types of vaccine corn crops in open at Hawaii.

Just crazy to let a big multi national corporation playing God.

If Monsanto protection act is resurrected, you can be assured that there is an agenda behind this, perhaps the EU-US Free Trade Agreement. The most important point of dispute is the EU's policy to limit the imports of genetically modified food.

I believe that Monsanto and other genetic modified brands, will take a chance on it to force all the European countries to accept this crap.

Monsanto must be pouring lots of money into politicians' pockets. None of this makes any sense whatsoever no matter how you look at it (except from the Monsanto perspective). Even Obomber is a strong supporter of Monsanto.

The problem is that we cannot get away from GMO foods in the USA. Non-GMO crops have been contaminated through GMO cross-pollenization. We have also have no requirements to label GMO foods as such. This and the fact that Chinese cooked foods will not have to be labeled as coming from China have me questioning the quality everything in the grocery stores.
