Thread: The US of A... The most ridiculous country in the World!

The US of A... The most ridiculous country in the World!

I know I'm starting a war, but who cares.

Legislation may by 2016 restrict the paint color options for California residents looking for a new car. Black and all dark hues are currently on the banned list. The California Air Resources Board says that the climate control systems of dark-colored cars need to work harder than their lighter siblings — especially after sitting in the sun for a few hours.

    Priceless!

Ahahaha that's why California is breaking away from the US. I'd say we don't want any!

I'll keep my Green New Yorker Fifth Avenue and the Blaizer.

  3. I used to pick on California for doing fascist things like this, but now the scales have tipped and the whole country is going that direction.

France is second. Red cars owners pay higher insurance because studies show that red is a brutal color making red cars divers more at risk to have an accident...
White car (careful drivers) are cheapest and then grey car (family member having a good job)...

I am for anything for the environment. Al Gore should do a movie on paint schemes of automobiles and buildings and the greenhouse effect.

Why should this be strange? I mean maybe a little, but they did studies, have a long history to compare and it makes sense too. You know a guy in a red Ferrari is gonna drive much more recklessly than someone in a white Honda.

California always leads the way and what may be considered crazy at first ends up being the norm. I remember when I couldn't get my '69 Firebird to pass the emission inspection test back in 1980, I thought they were crazy and I couldn't wait to get out of the Marine Corps and get out of the state. I think California is far ahead of the other states and the U.S. is by far ahead of all other countries. This is my opinion after living overseas the last 3 years. The longer away from the U.S. the more I understand how great a country it realy is.

So does this mean that someone in a red Honda will drive more recklessly that someone in a white Ferrari?

I can see reckless drivers preferring red cars, but reckless driving probably has less to do with that color of the car than the nature of the driver. I find it hard to believe that putting a reckless driver in a white car makes him or her a safer driver.

I don't trust most studies. They usually have an agenda that they set out to prove.
